A Dedicated Space for Ministerial Service
Since the construction of the original church building in 2005, our pastor has ministered from a small, shared office. A generous dedicated contribution received in 2015 was used to "jump-start" the planning and construction of a spacious sanctuary for our minister. Ground was broken in the spring of 2016 and we watched with joyous anticipation as the project took shape.
Furnishings Fund
The Board of Trustees appealed to the congregation in April 2016 for funds to create a handsome interior for the new office. Received contributions were augmented with monies raised from a Book Sale and from a UFO (Unity Fun Outing). Several of our parishioners contributed their unique professional talents in design and decoration to the space.
Dedication
The completed office was dedicated with a blessing following the Sunday service on 8/21/16. A plaque honoring the special contributions of Maxine Carter was affixed adjacent to the office door. A pot-luck lunch party followed!
